Jakob Modéer is Swedish by origin, American by education and Balkanite by marriage! He’s a Regional Entrepreneurship Program Manager for Western Balkans at SwissEP, meaning he’s been working alongside organizations like World Innovations Forum, Swiss Startup Factory, Business Angels Switzerland and more for many years now. He has more than 30 years of experience in living, working, failing, surviving and succeeding in South-East Europe. Furthermore, he’s an experienced Program Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the development management industry and strongly entrepreneurship professional skilled in international relations, proposal writing, private sector development, strategic planning, and SME development. His many roles include factory-owner, exporter, job creator, motivator and, most importantly, startup ecosystem supporter with the Swiss Entrepreneurship Program.
