Urban Lapajne is a startup enthusiast, evangelist, and mentor. Passionate about sports in Mother Nature. Hater of haters. He has extensive business experience and knowledge of start-ups, entrepreneurship, business strategy, new business developments, management, project management, marketing, digital marketing and many others. Urban has been actively involved in the startup scene for the last 16 years as a project manager at Start:up Slovenia at Venture Factory, a University business incubator of the University of Maribor. We could say he is a driving force of different activities connecting and promoting different stakeholders of the Slovene startup ecosystem, motivating future entrepreneurs to take action and providing them with support. Everything with the aim of boosting entrepreneurship in Slovenia. Additionally, he has been the program manager for PODIM Conference, the coolest startup event in the Alps-Adriatic and Western Balkans Regions, for several years.
